Creating Backyard Ambiance

April 1, 2018

Green Article

Prepare your yard for summer entertainment while we still have great weather. A peaceful ambiance surrounded with fresh flowers and comfortable seating doesn’t require a lot of space.

Look for naturally covered areas such as your patio or shade from a tree that can nicely define a space. Flowering garden beds create a natural, fragrant backdrop for a seating area. Add furnishings that accommodate your space, such as a table and chairs under your covered patio or on a solid surface if you have pavers or a brick patio.

Curved paths are inviting, and hanging porch lights or using solar lighting can illuminate your space after sunset. Glowing light and cast shadows will dramatically increase the aesthetics and mood of your space. For evening and nighttime entertaining, a Chimenea or fire pit will add great warmth while serving as an attractive gathering point.

Forming a peaceful outdoor space can be that simple. As time goes on and you spend more time in your newly developed outdoor area, add decorative, natural elements that complement the space, making it more comfortable, useful, and alluring.
